Leo Clips Cars

Short-form clipping for long-form creators

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

Leo Clips Cars publishes clips through its own posting software. Creators apply through this site, and the software publishes to the accounts we run for the creators we take on. This policy covers both halves: what the application form collects, and what the posting software stores.

Nothing here is used to advertise to you, and nothing is sold. We count visits and we read applications. We do not follow you to other websites, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent or share any of it. Each of the three things we do collect is set out below.

What the application form collects

The apply page asks for four things: your name, the channel you want clipped, an email address to reply to, and roughly how much long-form you publish in a month. That is the whole form. There is no account, no password and nothing to log in to.

What the site records about visits

Two things count visits, and neither of them identifies you.

Our own request log. Every request to this site is recorded for 90 days with the time, the page asked for, the response, the IP address, the country and the network it came from. It exists because this site gets submitted to platforms for review and we need to be able to tell whether their systems reached it.

Cloudflare's analytics. Cloudflare hosts this site and measures how it performs for the people reading it: pages viewed, rough location, what referred you, which browser, how fast the page loaded. It is reported to us as totals rather than as individual people. Cloudflare describes it as cookieless, and this site sets no cookies of any kind.

If we ever add another way of measuring the site, this page changes before it goes live, and anything we add is held to the same three rules: no cookies, no following you to other websites, and nothing sold or handed to advertisers.

What the tool stores

When the operator connects one of their own social media accounts, the platform issues an access token. That token is stored in a file on the operator's computer and is used only to upload the operator's own video clips to that same account.

What the tool does not do

Video content

The tool uploads video files that the operator has prepared on their own computer. Those files are sent to the platform the operator is publishing to, and to nowhere else. Publicly available information returned by a platform about the operator's own post, such as its identifier and status, is kept locally so the same clip is not posted twice.

Third parties

The only third parties involved are the social media platforms the operator publishes to. Once a clip is published, that platform's own privacy policy governs it.

Children

Leo Clips Cars is not directed at children. The application form asks for a channel and a business contact, and we do not knowingly accept an application from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date.
